The bathroom and kitchen in this beautiful house in Amsterdam Oud Zuid was designed together with the clients, a Dutch designer/retailer and his wife. In Paris they fell in love with the exclusive taps by the French brand Volevatch and this brought them to Baden Baden Interior, the Volevatch sales point in the Netherlands. The bathroom had to become one of a kind, therefore they chose to tile the whole space with a decoratively veined, black Belgium natural stone. The tiles were carefully selected according to colour and markings and were placed in a special pattern. On top of the sink we placed taps from the Volevatch Carpé series in polished nickel including a seashell soapdish and ebony handles.

The resistant ebony combines beautifully with the dark stone. The radiator and accessories were also chosen from the Volevatch collection in a polished nickel finish.
As this bathroom lacked daylight and dark materials were used, a well thought-out lighting plan was essential. In the kitchen they created more contrast by combining bright Carrara marble with Belgium stone. The robust kitchen tap by Volevatch is in a nickel matt finish. An idea to create depth- the frames were painted in high gloss black and furnished with matt black roller blinds by Woodnotes. This project demonstrates that Baden Baden Interior has affinity with various styles.
